Alberta

Bruce Daniels

Bruce, who was born in Nanaimo, BC, grew up in Humboldt, Saskatchewan where he obtained his elementary and high school education. He obtained his Bachelor of Education at the University of Saskatchewan after which he taught in Melfort, Humboldt, Saskatoon and Calgary. After several years in Real Estate sales and management, Bruce returned to his chosen career in Education obtaining his M.EdAdm. from the University of Victoria and moving into High School Administration. Bruce’s career took him to Kitimat and Terrace in Northern BC then to Alberta where he was Principal of K-12 schools in Irma and Grassland. On a personal note, Bruce has children in Alberta and other close relatives in BC and Saskatchewan. He, who, with his wife, Joan, makes his home in Camrose, Alberta is pleased to be renewing his First Nations’ contacts in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan while representing Many Nations Financial Services.

Larry Hackel

Larry was born and raised in Saskatchewan. He did his college studies in Calgary Alberta at Mount Royal College in Community Recreational Administration. From 1971 – 1989, Larry devoted himself to recreation programs for children and adults with special needs. Among his many positions, he was Director of Camp Easter Seals at Watrous Saskatchewan, Provincial Recreation Director for Saskatchewan Abilities Council and the Special Needs Director for the City of Regina, Parks and Recreation department. He has always contributed as a community volunteer, holding senior positions with the Saskatchewan Mental Health Association, Regina Volunteer Centre and the United Way. Since the arrival of the Toronto Bluejays into major league baseball, Larry continues to be a hard core fan. His finest years as a fan were in 92 and 93 when the Jays won the World Series. Larry shares his love for the Saskatchewan Roughriders with his three sons. He loves to play golf and now fishing. In 1989, Larry joined the sales force with London Life, and subsequently Many Nations Financial Services, where his knowledge, personal dedication and reliability are appreciated by both clients and staff. Larry lives in Regina with his wife, Robin. They have four children, Carrie, Aaron, Jordan, and Alex. Larry and Robin are also proud grandparents. Larry and his wife Robin have a new passion in their lives; they have become RV’ers and have been doing this since 2002. With all the travelling Larry does in a year he and Robin decided that it would be better for Larry to be able to have his home with him when he is up in Northern Alberta servicing his clients. In the summer you can see Larry and Robin and their puppies travelling the interior of B.C., and the Northern States. They have made so many new friends throughout Northern America and eagerly waiting till they are again back on the road to meet new friends and visit with old ones.

Troy Madsen

Providing efficient and friendly service has been Troy’s trademark for over 20 years in the Financial Service industry. Many forms of recreation such as hockey, golf, fastball and church volunteer activities allow Troy to interact with many people from all walks of life on a regular basis. Owen Dickie

Owen was born and educated in Dalhousie, N. B. He moved to Fredericton in 1993 and it was at that time that he began his career in the financial world. He first became involved with Many Nations in the year 2000. Owen is grateful for the many friends he has made through his work with the First Nation communities in the Atlantic Provinces and has developed a great understanding of their needs. He takes great pride in developing solutions for their financial future. His goal is to help them achieve financial security in all areas such as retirement planning, estate preservation and employee benefits. Owen has three sons, Shane, Matthew and Trevor and a daughter, Tiffany.

Denis Aubrey

Denis was born, raised and educated in Vancouver, B.C. After a period of service with the R.C.A.F., Denis entered the insurance industry in 1965.
After a brief exit from the business, Denis re-entered the insurance business as a manager with the Co-operators Insurance Company working in the B.C. Interior, East & West Kootenays. Denis began representing Many Nations in March of 1998. He fully endorses the mission of the Co-operative with enthusiasm and anticipates rapid growth of the membership in the B.C. Interior. Denis lives in Kelowna with his wife Shirley. They have two grown daughters, Nadine and Shannon; both working in the insurance industry in Vancouver.

Clary Bevan

Clary Bevan was born and raised in Victoria, B.C. where she began her career in financial services with the Bank of Montreal. She switched careers to be a full-time Mom and then returned to the world of financial services in insurance and mutual funds in 1996. In 1998, Clary began working for Dundee (formerly Cartier Partners) as an advisor where she met Dan Conway and partnered with him in 2006 to assist him with Many Nations clients. Clary completed the Canadian Securities Course in 2008 and began to work exclusively with Many Nations in 2009. Providing service with integrity, compassion, and respect, as well as striving to provide service above expectations are Clary’s priorities. Clary takes great pride and interest in her two children Cole, and Danica. Her other interests include golfing, hiking, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.

Dan Conway

Dan was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Arts (great distinction) in 1978.
His early career was spent first as a Manager with John Howard Society and then as an Investigator with the Saskatchwan Human Rights Commission.
In 1992 Dan moved to Victoria and completed the securities course (honours) and wrote the Handbook (Practices Manual as of 1993).
Dan has been employed with Many Nations Financial Services Ltd. as a Service Representative since March, 2002 and has worked with Cartier Partners (formerly Great Pacific Management) as a Financial Planner since 1993. Dan’s knowledge and dedication has been a success with his clients and staff.

Graham Cope

Graham was born, raised and educated in England. After a period with the Armed Forces, Graham worked in various capacities in the transport industry, becoming manager of Firestone Tire & Auto. About 30 years ago, Graham entered the life insurance industry. A few years later, in 1980 he emigrated to Canada, settling in British Columbia. He joined London Life in 1981, and in 1987, he was named Sales Manager. Graham began representing Many Nations in 1991. He has endorsed the Mission of the Co-operative with enthusiasm and has contributed his extensive knowledge and experience to the development of its clientele in B.C.
Graham lives in Cobble Hill, B.C. with his wife Carole. He has a grown daughter, Lisbeth and two grandchildren who reside in England. He has been involved in soccer all his life and has taken three First Nations teams to England since 1992.

Brian Michnik

Brian was born in Vancouver B.C. and returned with his family to the Battlefords’ area of Saskatchewan when he was seven years old. Brian received all his education in Saskatchewan and went on to become an Asst. Engineer with the Dept. of Highways working there for twelve years. Brian then decided to go into business on his own. He built and operated “Battleford Husky Food Store & Car Wash” in 1985 and as he says ” I received an offer I couldn’t refuse”, and he sold it in 2001. Brian and his wife Jennifer then moved to Victoria B.C. where his wife owns and operates two Daniadown bedding stores. Brian went on to get his LLQP Level 2 Insurance license in B.C. and joined Many Nations Financial in 2004. Brian has two children, Sarah who just got her Fine Arts Degree in Musical Theatre from London England and Joshua, who is a visual effects artist working for a company in Vancouver. Brian has played and coached various sports including hockey, baseball and football all of his life and enjoyed it greatly. But now he is definitely hooked on golf.

Randy Potskin

Randy has been in the Insurance and Investment industry since 1997. He lives with his family in Prince George British Columbia. Kris Andrew

Kris was born and raised on a mixed cattle and grain farm in Rossburn, Manitoba. Influenced by his entrepreneurial parents, Kris became a business owner at the age of 21. He owned and operated both a trucking/transport company and a feedlot cleaning/landscaping business. Kris is also a proud band member of Waywayseecappo First Nation with strong ties to the community. In addition to running his businesses, Kris worked as a Youth Recreation Director in Waywayseecappo. He spent his time facilitating and organizing sporting events and providing recreational opportunities for Aboriginal youth and their families.In 2006, Kris married his best friend, Jen.Today, Kris and Jen reside on an acreage north of Rossburn, Manitoba. With a wife and two little girls, Kris understands the importance of planning for a secure financial future. In 2013, Kris entered the insurance industry with Many Nations Financial Services Ltd. Jean Gaudry

Jean was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and currently lives there with his wife Paulette. He has four girls who all live in Winnipeg. He has obtained his Certified General Accountant (C.G.A.) designation as well as his Accredited Public Accountant designation.Jean has twenty-six years experience in banking, credit and finance and over twelve years in the insurance industry. His financial career began with the Caisse Populaires in Manitoba as Operations Manager of the Federation of Caisse Populaires. He then worked as General Manager of a Caisse Populaire.Since January 1994, Jean has been an independent advisor and his extensive training and experience in the insurance and financial industry allow him to offer a wide range of services to his clients.
