Privacy Policy Statement
Many Nations Financial Services Ltd. (“MNFS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is an insurance broker and has built relationships based on trust and service to our clients (“you” or “your”).
Protecting the privacy, security, and confidentiality of your personal information is important to us. This statement describes how we collect, use, and disclose information when you visit our website, interact with us, and all throughout the course of MNFS providing services to you. Please read this statement carefully and ensure you understand our practices. By visiting our website or by providing us with your information you confirm that you agree with this statement.
Please note that we reserve the right to update this Policy from time to time, with or without prior notice to you. We will notify you of any significant changes required by law.
What is considered personal information?
Personal information is any information about an identifiable individual. The categories of information we may collect or receive in the course of providing our services include the following:
- Contact Information such as your name, address, email, and telephone number
- Demographic information such as age, gender, family, and marital status
- Employment information
- Banking and investment information
- Identification numbers (SIN, Indian Status)
- Medical and health information
How we collect, use, and disclose your information
We will only collect, use, and disclose your information in accordance with this policy and with your consent or as otherwise required or as permissible by applicable law.
In order to provide our services, we collect information from you directly as customers of our services. We also collect information from, and disclose information to, partners together with whom we provide pension and financial services to you. Your personal information may be included with information received from your employer when requesting quotes on group benefits. This information is then provided to insurance companies to enable them to provide benefit options and pricing options.
Once your employer has selected an insurance company to provide benefits, your personal information is requested on the application and enrolment forms for group life and health benefits and retirement savings plans. The insurance companies providing these benefits require your personal information to provide and administer your benefits. Each enrolment form or application you complete will have a statement relating to the company’s privacy policies. You are not required to provide the information, but failure to do so may reduce, limit, or disqualify you from participating in the benefit plans. Clients purchasing individual life insurance or health products and individual investments will be required to provide their personal information for administrative and regulatory purposes.
To enable MNFS to provide service to you, we retain a copy of your application and/or enrolment
form, changes, claims, etc. in our files. We use your information to:
- Verify and confirm your identity when you are requesting information or assistance;
- Provide your service representative with your information to assist in servicing your
needs;
- To communicate with you;
- To advocate on your behalf when you have a claim; and
- Provide information on your benefit coverage or retirement savings to you or someone
you designate.
Further to the above, we collect limited information when you visit our website, such as when you
ask for us to contact you or provide you with a quote. Our website does not use cookies or other tracking technologies. We will never sell your information and we will not disclose or share your personal information without your consent unless, or as permissible, we are required by law to do so. We may use your information to keep you informed about our services or to promote events, but
we will only do so with your consent. You may unsubscribe from receiving commercial messages
at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button or by contacting our Privacy Officer (see contact

Only authorized employees have access to your information and we have implemented appropriate organizational, administrative, and technical safeguards to protect your information from loss and unauthorized access, theft, and deletion or alteration.
We will retain information for as long as it is required to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it from you, or as otherwise required by federal or provincial laws.
You may ask us to delete your information and we will accommodate your request to the extent we are able under applicable law or in order to meet our obligations to you.
